On Sunday, October 18, 2026, families, friends and communities will come together for the inaugural Jamaica’s Remembered—a new annual celebration of the people who came before us and the music, faith, culture and memories that connect generations.
From 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Remembered will be more than a concert.
It is being designed as a daytime music and cultural festival: a place to eat, listen, sing, dance, remember, reconnect and celebrate life.
WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?
A Musical Journey Across Jamaica
The Remembered stage will bring together well-recognised and impactful performers representing different sides of the Jamaican musical experience.
Without announcing the individual artistes just yet, patrons can expect a programme spanning:
Roots & Culture Reggae • Gospel & Inspirational Music • Dancehall • Mento & Traditional Jamaican Music • Festival & Heritage Performances
The intention is deliberate. Jamaica’s musical heritage stretches from traditional forms such as mento through reggae and dancehall, while gospel remains an important part of the country’s cultural landscape. Recent national cultural showcases have similarly brought these traditions together across generations.
Remembered will use that diversity to create a day that can appeal to grandparents, parents, young adults and children alike.

NOT JUST HOURS OF WATCHING A STAGE
Remembered is being planned as a festival experience.
Throughout the grounds, patrons can expect food and beverage vendors, community and partner booths, cultural spaces, opportunities to meet and interact, and places to simply sit with family and friends and enjoy the day.
That combination of live entertainment, food, cultural activity and family-friendly spaces is well established in Jamaica’s festival tradition.
So come early. Walk around. Eat something. Find your people. Enjoy the performances. Stay for the artistes you love—and discover something you didn’t expect.
A CELEBRATION WITH MEANING
At the heart of Remembered is something deeper.
Throughout the day, we will pause to recognise lives, families and legacies.
Families participating in the Remembered Tribute Programme will have an opportunity for the people they love to become part of that continuing story through photographs, video tributes and moments of remembrance incorporated into the Remembered experience.
But this is not intended to make the day sad.
Remembered begins with the belief that remembering someone can also be joyful.
We remember the music they loved. The things they taught us. The stories they told. The food they cooked. The jokes they made. The families and communities they helped to build.
We are not gathering simply to mourn those who have gone.
We are gathering to celebrate what they left with us.
