C-Think Announces Dean Leroy Fearon as Chief Adjudicator

The C-Think Debates League is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Leroy Fearon as the new Chief Adjudicator, further strengthening the programme’s commitment to academic excellence, fairness, and critical thinking development.

Dean Fearon currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at The Mico University College, where he leads academic and administrative efforts to prepare high-quality educators and promote innovative teaching and learning across programmes. His extensive experience in education leadership, student mentorship, and academic evaluation positions him uniquely to guide C-Think’s adjudication standards and training.

As Chief Adjudicator, Dean Fearon will:

  • Oversee the adjudication standards for all C-Think debates;
  • Lead training and development sessions for judging panels;
  • Mentor both adjudicators and student competitors on constructive evaluation and effective communication;
  • Ensure that every round upholds the integrity and educational impact of the debate format.
  • Ensure that moots and guidelines synchronize with school curricula.

After a meeting of The C-Think 2026 Secretariat, the chairman of Parents Alliance Chairman, Bishop Herro V. Blair (Jr), said that:

“Fearon’s appointment reflects the League’s focus not just on competition, but on nurturing confident, thoughtful communicators and thinkers who can reason clearly, handle conflicts and respond respectfully in public forums”.

With preparations underway for the C-Think 2026 season, the League welcomes Dean Fearon’s leadership and looks forward to a year of inspired debating and intellectual growth.
