The C-Think Community Impact Network will stage its inaugural Community Impact Project on Wednesday, August 26, bringing together children from St. Catherine communities and C-Think participating institutions for a special Back-to-School One-Day Camp.

The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Green Acres Community Center, St. Catherine, with a day designed to combine practical back-to-school assistance with learning, encouragement and fun.
Children will participate in critical-thinking and developmental activities, quizzes and challenges, academic and career guidance, health and wellness activities, games and entertainment. There will also be refreshments, a closing meal, giveaways and the presentation of available back-to-school supplies and other assistance.
The project is being organised through the C-Think Community Impact Network as part of its effort to ensure that the relationships being developed among schools, churches, businesses and communities translate into direct community impact.

Parents and Guardians: Registration Is Essential
Parents and guardians of children who have been selected, referred or invited are being asked to ensure that their child is formally registered.
A referral alone does not complete the process.
Beneficiary information will also help C-Think maintain contact with the young people reached through its Community Impact projects and identify opportunities for appropriate future engagement and support.

Places are limited, and parents and guardians are therefore encouraged to complete the registration as soon as possible.
The project will also be featured through C-Think Weekly on TVJ and C-Think’s other media and digital platforms as the Community Impact Network begins turning participation into visible action in communities.
